Fall table runner I finished with time to spare for Thanksgiving, Yaaaaa! Pattern/kit from Quilting on Main in Pocahontas.

My boys, and ofcourse us parents, actually made it through highschool graduation. I'M VERY PROUD OF MY BOYS!  On our way, we look gooooood!  Nathan is getting his diploma, wow! Nicholas is getting his diploma, yaaaaa! WE ARE OFFICIALLY GRADUATES NOW! CONTRATULATIONS NATHAN AND NICHOLAS!!

The Green Family This is for my Nathan guy, born twenty years ago August with and extra chromosone, and continues to be a wonderful, loving soul to all of us that have the priviledge of being a part of his life.

Here is a quickie crochet project! An almost too cute to use flower dishcloth, that a fellow group member, posted pattern for. It was fun and easy! Only took about 30 min, and I used varigated yarn instrad of solids, still turns out lovely. Published with Blogger-droid v2.0.4

Took a class last night and this is ,what acutally turned out to be, my ADORABLE  "tulip bag". I am unsure exatly why its called a tulip bag, but think it has to do with the panels you cut, they reminded me of flower petals. It's suppose to only take two hours, but I have no idea when they start timing, as took a good hour just to cut all the fabric, batting, durabond etc, let alone all the sewing after that, more like a 3-4hour project. But still very worth it! (all I need now is a cutie button)  The next pic below,shows my lovely pockets. I put two big ones and one small on outside, and one big with one small on inside... Look at all the stashing space! I did the JUMBO size, which is basketball size, so plenty big to use as a purse or, as I'm thinking, a knitting bag. But, who knows, it was easy enough that I could make several more and then use one as a purse too, lol.

Nathan is a BIG supporter of his school team, so I crocheted him a quick hat, which ofcourse he loves.... A modified pattern from Lion Brand Yarn

As many of you know, my oldest has down syndrome and autism and all it entails. Eventhough he is a lovely youngman, he still looks at the world with innocence of the child, I pray it is never taken a way from him....anyways he is a huge muppet maniac since he was a toddler and I borrowed some videos of the muppet show from a friend. He has his fav actual puppets that I have purchased over the years, and even several tshirts, which he tries to wear daily, lol. And ofcourse he has all the dvd's, several copies even, including the seasons 1-3 of the muppet show. Our small rural town FINALLY brought the new Muppets movie to town, only for 3days...what with that?...Ofcourse we took Nathan, and we all thoroughly enjoyed the movie. Fantastic for all ages! The little ones in the theater were intranced, and the adults often laughing at the remembered things they brought into the movie....since it kind of turns out they have been forgotten and need to make a comeback.
